Top 5 best values for the kitchen from amazon.com
1. Shop Amazon Gold Box - New Deals. Everyday
If you haven't heard of Amazon gold box you need to check it out today. Essentially the gold box for Amazon is part of the daily deals that they make available to all of their online shoppers. These include lightening deals as well as daily deals. What's the difference between Amazon lightening deals and daily deals? The main difference is lightening will disappear quicker based either on time or quantity.
Since I was merchant/buyer at Home Depot, I can explain a little bit on how this works. Usually retailers will mark up a product to the "MSRP or List Price" they get from the manufacturer / supplier. They can then discount the price off of this fake price as they will likely not sell many products at this high amount. So what you really need to do is just compare the end price with one other site with similar products (either on Amazon or Google Shopping). The good news is the Amazon Daily and Lightening deals are usually pretty good vs. other products on their site and vs. their competition.
Pros
- Great deals most of the time
- Huge selection of offers
- Easy to shop
- Fast delivery
Cons
- Actual % savings is likely not exactly that amount
- Sometimes freight cost is put into the cost of the product
2. Shop Amazon Deals - Deep Discounts on Open-box and Used Kitchen Gadgets
Some of the best deals you can get would be from used or open box products. Just because someone else returned a product doesn't mean the product isn't good...a lot of times they just end up returning it for a wide variety of reasons, but because they opened the box it means the Amazon can't sell the item as new.
Pros
- Getting a almost as good as new product for less
- Product usually performs as described (if not return it)
Cons
- Some products may not work, so returning them is a pain (worth the savings)
3. Shop Amazon Outlet - Clearance, Markdowns and Overstock Deals
Sometimes retailers and buyer/merchants end up buying too much of the wrong thing (e.g. generally 20% of products generate 80% of the sales). What this means for you is that you win because at some point in time the buyer will want to get rid of the products that don't sell as well to replace it with an item they think will do better. In order to make room for these new products either in the warehouse, or in prime spots on the website the buyer will discount these items to get them out of the warehouse (sometimes below cost). This doesn't mean they are bad products...just that not enough people were interested. This is your win if you want the product...only you get it at a reduce cost..congrats!
Pros
- Usually brand new product just discounted to sell quickly
- Great deals, especially if you can time it right
Cons
- Not having exactly what you want when you want it
- Usually restrictions on return the item
4. Introducing Prime Pantry - Everyday Essentials Delivered to You
It is a really good time to think about how much time you are spending going to shop at the grocery store...skip the time, hassle, crowds and germs and have Amazon deliver it to you instead.
What is Amazon Prime Pantry? According to Amazon: "Amazon Pantry is an online store where Customers can shop for groceries and household products in everyday package sizes (for example, a single box of cereal).
Amazon Pantry allows Amazon to expand its selection and offer thousands of items that are normally cost prohibitive to ship individually (for example a $3 body wash that then costs $5 to ship).

5. Shop Amazon - New Coupons in Grocery - Save Up to 30% on Select Food Items
Amazon Coupons are real easy to use, and are great because you can't use manufacturing coupons you get in your "Sunday paper". Because Amazon has been marketing itself as the “smartest choice” for shopping, entertainment, and many other needs, they knew that at some point they would need to adhere to the desires of more traditional shoppers. This meant introducing coupons.
Amazon Coupons are way better than more traditional cut-out-of-the-newspaper coupons though. The best part of Amazon Coupons is that you get new savings every day and the coupons are catered to your shopping patterns. For instance, if you shop on Amazon for cleaning supplies you will get coupons for cleaning supplies. Note you can't stack coupons.
Pros
- Save up to 30% on top brands and private label goods
- Simple to clip coupons
- A lot coupons to choose from
Cons
- Time required to search coupons
- Can't stack coupons
- Can't use manufacturer coupons
Conclusion
There are a lot of ways to save money on by reviewing deals and top sellers from Amazon's wide selection of deals within kitchware, housewares, cookbooks, and other categories.
