- 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter, let cool down slightly.
Beat eggs, stir in sugar and vanilla.
Fold in the flour.
Mix in melted chocolate and butter.
Preheat waffle iron.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on waffle iron.
Start timing for 1 minute as soon as the cover is down.
Frost with chocolate icing and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
