- 1 c. butter
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- FROSTING: 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift flour and baking powder together and stir in.
Spread 2/3 of batter in a 10 x 13 inch pan.
Spread filling over batter.
Drop remainder of batter on top of filling by the spoonfuls and spread.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
